The article deals with the problems of the emergence and formation of nationalist parties in the northern European countries, their influence on the party-political balance of forces in these countries. The electoral situation, participation of parties in the governments and work of parliaments are analyzed, the characteristic of ideology of these parties is given. Each party has gone its own way, each has its own roots and priorities related to the peculiarities of the national political culture. But they all share common approaches to solving the most important national problems: the rejection of uncontrolled immigration from the Middle East and Africa, multiculturalism as the ideological basis of domestic policy, and criticism of the European bureaucracy that ignores, in their view, the deteriorating ethno-demographic situation in the region
