Localization development of filter elements for natural gas stations
Abstract
For the fact that over 90% filter elements of stations along the long-distance gas pipeline were imported, filter elements with multiple particle intercepts and coalescence-separation characteristics were developed through selecting the preferred filter materials, optimizing the material combination and enhancing the skeleton strength, etc. In addition, the performance test was performed according to the test conditions specified in Test methed of the performance of high efficiency particulate air filter—Efficiency and risistance (GB/T 6165—2008), Performance test of filter elements used in gas pipelines (SY/T 7034—2016), Hydraulic fluid power. Filter elements. Part 3: Verification of collapse/burst pressure rating (GB/T 14041.3—2010). As shown in the results, the overall performance of the developed filter elements reaches the technical level of foreign products of the same kind, some key indicators are even superior to the imported, with the performance level meeting the localization requirement, and in terms of economy, both of the procurement cycle and cost can be reduced by more than 50%. Hence, the localization will not only bring about few inventories, but also effectively solve the problems in replacing filter elements due to exceeding the time limit.
