Égalité et nouvelles figures du conflit urbain au Brésil

Abstract

Brazil has experienced, throughout the process of political reinstitutionnalization of the eighties, an egalitarism mutation which has led to deep transformations related to the forms of structuration of social relations and appropriation of space. All these components have been a source of new kinds of urban conflict. Favelas of Rio are an important illustration of all these phenomena.
