Analysis of variation in indicators of deprivation (educational, health, housing, service and economic) for the neighborhoods of the city of Muqdadiya for the year 2017
Abstract
This research dealt with a problem that is the first and basic in most cities of the developing world, including the Iraqi city, where economic deprivation is a more comprehensive concept than poverty as it goes beyond the living problems of the family to include the family’s access to the necessary services that directly affect the life of the family in particular and society in general, so it is one of the priorities of the state towards Its citizens, and because it is the basis for building the family and society, the research dealt with educational, health, housing and security indicators in the city of Muqdadiya, which is the second largest city in Diyala governorate in terms of population. Dividing and arranging the data in the form of four regions. Each region includes a number of neighborhoods with common characteristics In terms of the availability of the aforementioned indicators, which provides a database for planners and official bodies and helps them in the process of making appropriate decisions for the development of the city and its residential neighborhoods.
