Professional ethics is one of the most important mechanisms that ensures the effectiveness of counselling, both for a client and a therapist. The importance of ethical principles increases when the family system as a client is concerned. Today counselling is based on relatively established ethical principles and therefore require specific attention and comprehension: social uncertainty and crisis, fseparation of families both geographically and in terms of values, teletherapy and virtuality in all areas of life, accessibility, diversity and fashion for psychological help, etc. The aim of the discussion is to point to some new circumstances, their impact on the ethical side of counselling.
