The emerging traffic flows, such as time-sensitive and throughput-intensive flows, require higher Quality of Service. However, queue resources in current data center switches are pretty rare to satisfy these requirements. To solve this problem, we propose a queue structure called Infinite Queue in one Queue (IQQ) with in-queue scheduling mechanisms and specific operations to fulfill the demands of diverse flows. Besides, IQQ also provides a deviation correction scheme to eliminate the potential bias produced in IQQ. Our preliminary results show that IQQ is feasible in data center switches and it can provide isolation for traffic flows effectively.
