The current organizations seldom support their management’s concept of corporate culture that leans heavily towards a functionalist view of their own practical experiences. Repeated inconsistencies between the contents of management communication and the social reality in which operate the organizations highlight the inoperability of said concept, which appears more as a tool of ideological indoctrination. The management’s representation of the corporate culture, on which they base their decision, runs up against the workers’ micro cultures and their values system, zones of influence, political stakes and identity claims that are impossible to instrumentalize.
