PERAN PEMERINTAH DAERAH SEBAGAI PENGEMBAN TANGGUNG JAWAB PERLINDUNGAN HAK-HAK ANAK DALAM MEWUJUDKAN KOTA LAYAK ANAK DI KABUPATEN KARAWANG

Abstract

Child rights violations have occurred and are of concern to us. Therefore, in order to build ideal conditions necessary for the role of government in protecting children's rights, especially the role of local government as the bearer of child protection responsibility. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the role and responsibility of government in overcoming the violation of children rights in the Region, and to know the factors becoming the acts of realizing the prosperity of society in area especially to children. This research is analytical descriptive and using normative juridical approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through literature studies and field studies. Data analysis is done qualitatively. From the results of the study can be concluded that the factors that cause many violations of child rights in the region include regulatory factors, apparatus implementers and socio-cultural factors. Role and Responsibility of Local Government in the effort to realize Child Protection as City Worthy of a Children’s still not held properly accordingly and there are obstacles in its implementation.
