Introduction: Increase of the human capital and the quality of human resources due to the development of health level is one of the important factors in economic growth, which leads to productivity increase at constant levels of inputs. Methods: In this study the panel data of 30 provinces was used in 2005 -2013. These data were obtained from the regional data of statistics center of Iran using the estimates of Mankiw, Romer, and Weil models by data panel method and generalized method of moments. Data analysis was performed using Spss22 and Eviews 8 software. Results: The results showed that public health expenditures had a greater effect on the labor productivity than the private health expenditures. In this regard, per 100 rials increase in private and public health expenditures, the productivity increases by 0.75 rials and 27.4 rial, respectively. Conclusion: The private health expenditures has treatment applications and public health expenditure has sanitary applications. Furthermore, the heath expenditure has high cost for some families. SO, the government must reduce the total cost of health to increase the labor productivity.
