Selected academic search engines on the Web

Abstract

The article reviews selected scientific & scholar search engines which are available in the Internet: Scirus, Google Scholar i Google Books Search. It pays attention to their functions, usage and utility for academic environment which is connected with searching for information in the various fields of science.
