Some considerations on educational management in the field of adult education

Abstract

In this paper, some aspects linked to educational management oriented to adult education are considered. In this regard, a management proposal emphasizing the specificity of the school, taking certain distance from conceptions closer to business concepts, pointing out the importance of participation as a strategy in educational centers management is especially considered. Likewise, some observations on the managerial figure and his/her role play, characterized by the multidimensionality of his/her work are carried out. In this aspect, the importance of certain traits and styles that could result favorable in his/her performance is emphasized. On the other hand, guidelines enabling educative project designs aimed at adults and their subsequent implementation are offered. Finally, certain characteristics of today's society that the school should especially address to for the purpose of managing pertinent and relevant to education for adults are put forward
