Promoting health through psychodrama with a group of seniors attended at the social assistance reference center

Abstract

This article aims to report the experience with an elderly group. The practice was based on the use of psychodrama techniques in eight meetings with the participation of 20 elderly assisted by the Reference Center for Social Assistance. The report aims to narrate the experience of the practice of psychodramatic intervention with a group of elderly aiming at health promotion and quality of life, and the evolution of participants was verified through this approach as an effective group work technique.
