INTERNET TELEVISION AS A MODERN COMMUNICATION PLATFORM
Abstract
The research paper deals with Internet television as a modern and up-to-date communication platform. The work focuses on the researches of Ukrainian and foreign scholars. The topicality of the research paper is due to the current trends in the formation of theories of social communications in relation to the identification of communication parameters and the opportunities of Internet television as the core for implementation of mass communication processes.The network environment in general gave an excellent impetus to the creation of many communication platforms that are different in nature, but united by the sole purpose of providing and realizing an information and communication resource. This leads to the formation of a number of features of communication platforms, their differences and even specifics of language styles.The attempt is made in the paper to classify Internet television from the standpoint of the technical platform, giving grounds for further study of socio-communicational units of Internet television as an applied socio-communicational technology.We believe the described possible components of the model of Internet television as a specific communicational platform to be a considerable contribution.
