L’éducation à l’environnement dans le Parc national de Tijuca : dialogue entre politique publique et société
Abstract
In this article, we review the history of the educational proposal elaborated in the National Park of Tijuca, from 1996 to 2013, aiming to demonstrate the political and ideological aspects that involved the reformist and transformative conceptions in environmental education, as well as the conflicts between the social sectors excluded from the management of the park and its administration. For this, we used the analysis of Federal official documents, books and information obtained in dissertations, articles and websites. Finally, we conclude that although in this protected area and in the others one managed by the ICMBio critical environmental education has been forced to withdraw from management, it has still proved to be effective, contributing to the struggle for environmental and social rights in the Tijuca National Park.
