Debate as an innovative technology of forming personal and meaningful positions of students

Abstract

The article shows that debate as an educational technology contribute forming student’s personal and meaningful position. Debate is one of the most effective methods to promote the development of creative activity, oratorical skills and tolerance. Debate requires detailed investigation of controversial issues, and it is an excellent tool for developing critical thinking,logic skills, civilized discussion and democratic dialogue.
