Frank-Condon factors and r-centroids for the B-X bands of 10B18O and 11B18O molecules

Abstract

Frank–Condon factors and r-centroids have been calculated for the B2Σ+–X2Σ+ bands of the 10B18O and 11B18O isotopic molecules assuming that both the B and X states follow a Morse potential curve. The calculated q ν'ν" values are compared with observed band intensities and the relationship between the r-centroids and the band positions has been determined and is discussed.
