The purpose of this study is aimed at examning factors affecting household expenditures for chidren health care, using panel data from VHLSS 2010 and 2012. Litterature on related theories of consumer behaviour such as health care expenditures, outcomes of previous studies, and concerns of households on thewillingness to pay for children health care have been explicitly reviewed. Findings show that thirteen variables classified in four factor groups, namely, household economic condition, health care services, supporting sources, and demographic characteristics of household posed significantly impacts to expenditures of househods for their chidren health care. Among those factors, households’ income is the most significant one. Based on research results, the authors make some recommendations for enhancing thehouseholds’ interest on spending these costs for better health care of their chilren.
