Outsourcing support and service activities in military organizations (the case study of Air Force)

The main concern of each organization is the realization of the main goals and missions of that organization. In this regard, to acquire the more effectiveness, various strategies such as outsourcing are used. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the possibility of outsourcing support and service activities in military organizations (case study of the Air Force support and service activities). This research is applied and descriptive-survey. The data gathered through questionnaire and was analyzed by using khi-2 test. The statistical population is the Air Force commanders and directors who were selected by full-scale method. Research findings indicate that in military organizations one of the proposed outsourcing patterns is to pay attention to the components of organizational security, internal processes of organization, organizational resources and infrastructure, organizational efficiency, strategic alignment and the outside the organization. Without regard to this model, the effectiveness of outsourcing in military organizations will face serious problems.
