Abstract

The question of equality of opportunity in matters of public employment, section 16 of Indian Constitution, is widely debated between the judicature, i.e. Supreme Court of India, that is lying down constitutional principles and the legislature that is protecting the interests of backward classes of citizens, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, towards constitutional amendments
