Artificial Intelligence: should Postmodern America be worried? A Sketch of Answers with Thomas Pynchon’s V.

Abstract

Abstract: Whoever knows Thomas Pynchon, knows a novelist with great interest in addressing the issues of America in the new era. However humourous he sounds, he gives evidence in many instances of the kind of apocalyptic writer he is. He does not swerve from that line when addressing the issue of Artificial Intelligence in his self-introductory novel V. Although it was written more than half-a-century ago, V. needs to be read in line with present day American technological course.
