Wybrane zagadnienia prawne elektronicznej dokumentacji medycznej

Abstract

In the Polish legal system, that is currently in force, the legislator allows to create health records in two forms - traditional paper and electronic. According to the legislator's as­sumption, after 31 st December 2017, in the system of public health services the electronic form is about to become the only acceptable form of keeping health records. Therefore the aim of this paper is to pay particular attention to the practical aspects of creating, keeping and sharing elec­tronic health records, which is inseparably related to protection of medical data.
