Kompetencje cyfrowe we współczesnej cywilizacji medialnej

Abstract

This article aims to show the role of digital competences in the light of some directives and guidelines of the EU and in relation to their model approach presented in the Polish Framework Catalogue of Digital Media of 2014. The author describes the role of digital literacy in contemporary civilization, media, and their location in relation to other key competencesfor human development and improving the quality of life. A separate space is held by the use of digital competence in the sphere of work, education, services and everyday social relations.
