Los cabildos hispánicos de canónigos regulares de la obediencia de San Rufo de Avignon (siglos XI- XV).

Abstract

The regular canons of Saint ruf of Avignon, after 1039, were the first communities of priest which, as a permanent, continuous and exportable model, followed the rule of Saint Augustine as a fundamental norm and clear realization of the evangelical provisions for their life. This work studies their implantation in the Iberican Peninsula after 1069 and their presence, after various advances and some frustrated attempts, throughout all the High Middle ages, in some prominent monasteries.
