Technical Development Analysis of Aero Engine Accessory Gear Trains

Abstract

The necessity of conducting research on the design technology of transmission gear systems for aircraft engine accessories was described. By analyzing the technical characteristics of typical aircraft engine accessory transmission gear systems, the technological development trends of accessory transmission gear systems in terms of functional requirements, design layout, gear system form,and gear utilization rate were sorted out systematically. Suggestions for the development of simplified and high-speed accessory transmission gear systems, collaborative design with accessories, and distributed transmission were also proposed.
