The objective of this research is to study a comic book translation; this is to find out whether the process of translation is the same across genres or is it any different when it comes to the translation of a comic book. For this study, a British comic book The Murder Corporation by A Fleetway Super Library and its Tamil translation Sathigarar Sangam by Lion-muthu Comics is scrutinized. This research marks the differences between the source and the translated material to show that translation is not a mere word for word conversion, as it is faithful to the original text and at the same time very conscious about the target audience who are to read the translation.
