The Moodle platform use for evaluation in Libras discipline for listeners in university: a case study
Abstract
This article presents a case study about the evaluation process using the Moodle Platform in the teaching of the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) in the Biological Sciences Degree course at the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná from Dois Vizinhos - Paraná. The research was based on the hypothesis that this technology contributes in a positive way for the insertion of listeners in the deaf culture. It is a qualitative research whose data collection and analysis was based on a questionnaire, composed by objective and subjective questions, as well as on the grades obtained by the students in the subject in question. We sought to contextualize evaluation in the teaching of Libras for listeners and to reflect on the use of the Moodle Platform as an effective instrument of evaluation since it privileges the visual aspect of the communication contemplated in the deaf culture.
