The paper presents new data on distribution of the species of the genus Kowarzia Mik, 1881. Kowarzia barbatula (Mik, 1880) is recorded for the first time from the territory of Russia and the Caucasus, K. plectrum (Mik, 1880) – from the territory of Russia. Currently 3 species of Kowarzia are known from the territory of Russia and the Caucasus: K. barbatula, K. caucasica Sinclair, Shamshev 2014 and K. plectrum. Kowarzia caucasica is recorded for the first time from Georgia. A key to species is given
