The present paper aims to read the writings of Robert Bresson about the cinematographer alongside the critical thinking of the researcher Raúl Antelo. By bringing them closer, the notion of archiphilology emerges in the writing of both and establish ruptures with the real of the images. The procedure starts from an anachronistic time, revealing the importance of assembly, silence and emptiness as a force. The fragment recomposes images and sounds and plays with chance, writing an interval story, which the animal appears as a vestige that exposes the human to his own death.
