In 1958 the Brazilian painter and designer Aloisio Magalhães has published with the Brazilian poet João Cabral de Melo Neto, his cousin, a book that would remain unknown to the general public for a long time. We talk about Aniki Bóbó. The purpose of our essay is precisely to analyze this João Cabral’s book, not very much studied, and to verify how this dialogue between poetry and visual image takes place in it.
