De la guadaña al forfait. Análisis del uso turístico de los museos etnológicos del Alto Pirineo catalán
Abstract
In this article we examine the defining characteristics of visitors to three ethnological museums located in the Catalonian Pyrenees, which share similar features: the Valls d’Àneu Ecomuseum, the Turpentine Women Museum and the Val d’Aran Museum. A series of surveys conducted in these museums and in the regions where they are located have enabled us to obtain a clearer picture of this visitor’s main characteristics and, based on this knowledge, to understand the role played by these heritage facilities in tourism in the local environment.
