Making of fuzzy logic system rules base for decision making support by aggregation of weights of rules premises
Abstract
The fuzzy logic systems are more often used in practice for decision making support. Although the use of such models is relatively simple, its production requires a synergy of knowledge of persons engaged in the production of such systems as well as experts from the field of the researched problem. Translation of expert knowledge and experience in the fuzzy logic system requires a long communication with a number of experts of the researched field. The end result depends on the degree of mutual understanding, as well as the ability of people producing fuzzy logic systems to built expert knowledge and experience into the models they produce. This paper presents a method of aggregation of weight of rules premises which overcomes the problem in the communication between experts and persons who produce fuzzy logic system. The way of making a set of linguistic rules for fuzzy logic system is shown in six simple steps. This method is shown on the example of assessment of the Serbian Armed Forces' units' performances in removing the mine-explosive obstacles while performing combat operations.
