An analysis of the Spanish educational system from the European comparative perspective
Abstract
The article analyzes the degree of convergence of the Spanish system of education and training with regard to the international standards set by the OECD, particularly with respect to the objectives set for 2010 from the Lisbon strategy. We have studied 10 indicators (specific targets Europeans) around the 3 strategic goals of quality, accessibility and Opening. The results of the study far from homogeneous show us a picture full of nuances and chiaroscuros we will indicate the strengths of our system and where the debate should focus education outside partisan interpretations.
