Anarchismo e femminismo nelle riviste La donna libertaria (1912-1913) e L’Alba libertaria (1915)

Abstract

We present here a selection of articles from the first two anarchist women’s magazines published in Italy, La donna libertaria (1912-1913) and L’Alba libertaria (1915). These articles shed light on the aims of these journals, which were not only to get women more involved in supporting the anarchists’ struggles (against capitalism, militarism and clericalism in particular), but also to provide information and generate reflection on more specifically female problems, such as birth control, prostitution or the struggle against anti-feminism.
