Influence of biogenic and semisynthetic osteoplastic materials on the regeneration of bone tissue of the jaw after resection of the root apex of tooth

Abstract

Resection of the root apex of tooth remains actual in treatment of chronic apical periodontitis in practice of dentists. To prevent possible complications of this operation osteoplastic materials are used. There are plenty of osteoplastic materials on the market. However, in the literature there are contradictory data on them.On the basis of X-ray studies the results of applying nondemineralized spongiosis «Lioplast»® and material «Kolapol» during the operation of resection of root apex of tooth are presented.
