Neutrosophic Sets and Systems (Dec 2022)
SVNS-based multicriteria methods for the selection of management elements for academic diplomacy
Abstract
The objective of this study was to demonstrate the usefulness of neutrosophic set theories for the selection of key elements for the management of academic diplomacy in higher education. For this, neutrosophic correlation coefficients were used, as well as multicriteria problem solving methods adapted in the field of neutrosophy. The alternatives to be evaluated were subjected to the methods selected for the study, after which a comparison and analysis of the results was carried out. The application of the methods made it possible to obtain a very well-defined set of the most significant elements for proper management of academic diplomacy, according to the experts involved in the study. The use of indeterminacies during the process, it allowed obtaining results of greater precision and appropriate to the reality of decision-making. It was possible to conclude that there was coherence between the results obtained from both analyses, expressed in the similarities of the results in terms of the most and least preferred alternatives.
