Historia cronológica de la Revista Cubana de Estomatología desde su fundación The History of the Cuban Journal of Stomatology from its foundation
Abstract
La Revista Cubana de Estomatología, desde su fundación en el mes de junio del año 1964, ha permitido a los estomatólogos cubanos y de otros países divulgar los resultados de sus investigaciones. Con el objetivo de ofrecer información acerca de la evolución histórica del Comité Editorial de la Revista Cubana de Estomatología y brindar una modesta contribución a la Historia de la Estomatología en Cuba, se describen en orden cronológico, los diferentes comités editoriales que han transitado por la revista desde 1964 hasta el año 2009. Se reconoce el esfuerzo realizado por los profesionales de la especialidad que dedicaron parte de su tiempo y conocimientos en mantener activa la revista.The Cuban Journal of Stomatology, from its foundation in June, 1964, allows to Cuban stomatologists and from other countries to spread the results of its researches. The aim of present paper is to offer information on the historical course of Editorial Committee of the Cuban Journal of Stomatology and to make a modest contribution to History of Stomatology in Cuba and to describe a chronological order of the different editorial committees that to went by the journal from 1964 to 2009. It is recognized the effort made for specialty professionals who devoted part of their time and the knowledges to maintain active the journal.
