Presencia de la muerte en El complot mongol de Rafael Bernal / Presence of death in El complot mongol by Rafael Bernal
Abstract
En este artículo nos proponemos mostrar la configuración de la muerte y el modo de afectación en el protagonista de la novela El complot mongol, del escritor mexicano Rafael Bernal. Destacamos cómo la muerte se configura como fuerte presencia que nos acompaña a lo largo de nuestro transitar por la vida, la incertidumbre de su aparición en el decurso vital deja una huella que resulta una carga muy pesada de llevar. Desde esta propuesta de lectura, para el análisis de esta novela de Bernal, nos apoyamos en algunos autores que han reflexionado sobre los rasgos de la literatura policial y otros que han problematizado la concepción de la muerte; así, formulamos cómo esta figura se presenta en la novela. En este sentido, en El complot mongol el protagonista Filiberto García se concibe a sí mismo como un fabricante de muertos, para él la muerte ha sido algo cercano y evidente, su presencia ha definido la visión que tiene de las cosas. In this article we intend to show the configuration of death and manner of involvement in the protagonist of the novel El complot mongol of the mexican writer Rafael Bernal. We highlight how death is set up as a strong presence that accompanies us throughout our life, the uncertainty of their appearance in the succession of vital time leaves a mark that is a heavy burden to carry. From this reading proposal, for the analysis of this novel by Bernal, we rely on some authors who have reflected on the features of the police literature, and others who have problematized the conception of death; thus, we formulate how the figure of the death appears in the novel. In this regard, in El complot mongol the protagonist Filiberto García sees itself as a manufacturer of dead, for him death has been something near and clear, their presence has defined the vision he has of things.
