Régions et intégration régionale dans l'espace nordique-arctique, métamorphoses du « fait régional » boréal
Abstract
In the northern and arctic space, the regional question seems to arouse new interest in the assessment of development and governance issues. The analysis of regional processes and their relationship to globalization initiates a new reading of Arctic transitions. In particular, regional integration processes question a wide variety of forms of political projects resulting from negotiations or demands. The Far Norths have become particularly dynamic spaces for creating regional value, in regional institutional context, such as in Nunavut or Greenland, in original project calling for management autonomy in Nunavik, or at the local level, in numerous empowerment processes.
