Corporate social responsibility: a strategy to achieve the best administrative practices
Abstract
Social Responsibility practices have been gaining importance in the business world, hence this study focuses on the characterization of Corporate Social Responsibility of companies in the services sector in the city of Ocaña, with a quantitative, transversal descriptive approach . The results show that companies focus their greatest commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the dimension of Fair Operating Practices, followed by Consumer Affairs, Governance and Human Rights, in contrast to the above it was evidenced that these companies do not they fully comply with their social responsibility practices in the dimensions: Labor practices, Active Participation and Community and Environment Development. Likewise, corporate social responsibility practices in service companies are influenced by their size, that is, in large companies compliance with the dimensions as conceived by the norm is observed, while in small companies a high degree of informality in the processes.
