Chukchi. IIITo Bear Hunting on a Logger. The Chukchi and the Russians disagree completely on the issue of slaughtering wild animals. The chairman of the kolkhoz argued that since bears and wolves are a threat to the reindeer breeding, they must be killed on every possible occasion. The Chukchi hunters think that animals could be killed only for food or when they cause too much damage and could not be stopped otherwise.
