Abstract

Causes of an increase in demand for unban condominiums are diverse. They are: 1) the Increase in population, 2) the number of Immigrants to the city, 3) the need for space to live in the city, 4) the ambition in life of many people to have their own habitats, 5) urban trends. 6) economic growth, 7) lifestyle of the new generation, focusing on living in a small space, which is suitable for small families.The author states that the new generation is not ready to maintain houses with a large usable area. Modern lifestyles of people in this era who are time-poor require a good area management system around the building for convenient living. Management systems are: 1) comprehensive fire safety management, 2) pest control, 3) waste disposal, and 4) building security systems. All of these factors are driving forces that has caused the demand for condominiums to in crease rapidly. It isanother solution that is considered to be a new type of housing that is becoming very interesting to people who want to live in cities. The management system perfectly responds to their needs. However, with the current economic condition that is in a recession period due to the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the demand is decreasing because the economic condition has a huge effect on consumers. Due to the uncertainty about the stability of the work they do, their purchasing power decreases; therefore, they show more careful spending patterns, which affect entrepreneurs, and the overall economic system.
