A Review of the Research on Legal Issues Related to Three-dimensional Development of China's Maritime Areas
Abstract
The three-dimensional development of sea areas can maximize the benefits of sea area development and utilization, and reduce the loss of marine resources. At present, China lacks relevant legal basis for the three-dimensional development of sea areas. The paper summarized the research focuses on three-dimensional development of sea areas both domestically and internationally, and pointed out the research achievements that China could learn from. Propose the legal issues that exist in the current stage of three-dimensional development of sea areas in China, including a lack of legal and regulatory basis, relatively broad relevant regulations, a lack of comprehensive planning for layered development and utilization of sea areas, and a lack of marine basic data investigation. Propose suggestions to accelerate the formulation of relevant laws and regulations, concretize relevant regulations, clarify the timing of three-dimensional development of sea areas, and clarify the carrying capacity of marine resources and environment, in order to provide theoretical reference for relevant departments.
