It was bought to the journal’s attention that some images in the article appeared to be duplicated with those from another article, Xu et al: Transcriptional regulation of miR-483-3p mediated by IL-6/STAT3 axis promoted epithelialmesenchymal transition and tumor stemness in glioma(https://doi.org/10.18632/aging.103761).● Figure 1D in the published article appears to be identical to Figure 1D in Xu et al but the data represents different experimental conditions and samples.● Figure 7E in the published article appears to be identical to Figure 8A in Xu et al but the data represents different experimental conditions and samples. We attempted to contact the authors of this article but despite multiple attempts received no response. The Editor has determined the findings of the study are no longer valid and requested for the article to be retracted. Our decision-making was informed by our policy on publishing ethics and integrity and the COPE guidelines on retraction. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as “Retracted”. This retraction relates to this paper
