Pour une politique de promotion du théâtre : les luttes des « groupes » de São Paulo

Abstract

This article discusses the trajectory of the movement Arte contra a Barbárie, from its genesis to its most significant accomplishment: the Theater Promotion Law for the City of São Paulo, an important public policy innovation in the Brazilian context. By discussing this path, the article considers the strategies that the movement has used and the factors that contributed to making such an achievement possible.
