Purpose. The article is devoted to the analysis of the basic word-formation models of abstract names in the Even language. The author aims to identify the structural and derivational features of abstract names in the Even language. Method or methodology of the work. The main research method is the descriptive one; the word-formation analysis methods are also used. Results. The article identifies the main word-formation types of abstract names in the Even language. Morphological changes in derived abstract names are considered. The methods of abstract names word formation are analyzed. It is revealed that, along with the traditional suffix method, abstract names in the Even language are actively formed by conversion (morphological-syntactic way). Scope of the results. The results of the work can be applied in studies on synchronous word formation in the Even language, in comparative studies of the derived nomination of the Tungus-Manchu languages.
