The XBT automatic launch and measurement system can automatically launch probes in severe sea conditions, and the motor control unit is the control core of the launch mechanism. The unit consists of a power management module, communication and motor control interface module, main control chip and etc, the stepping motor, servo motor and DC motor in the launch system can be controlled in real time. After putting forward the design scheme of hardware and software, the various faults found in the test for motor control unit are analyzed from mechanism. The test result after improved shows that the motor control unit can respond to the control commands of the host computer in real time, ensuring the stable motion of each motor, and the automatic launch and measurement system has the characteristics of good practicability, high efficiency and automation.
