ANÁLISIS, DESCRIPCIÓN Y PROBABLES FUNCIONES DE LOS PATRONES DE ASENTAMIENTO EN LA CULTURA BOLAÑOS, MÉXICO (Analysis, Description and Probable Functions of Settlement Patterns in the Bolaños Culture, Mexico)
Abstract
La carga cultural que traían los colonos prehispánicos llegados al cañón de Bolaños, México, la aplicaron con gran éxito al nuevo ambiente natural al cual se enfrentaron. Reprodujeron el patrón de asentamiento circular conocido, pero adaptaron sus elementos a las nuevas condiciones geográficas de la región. Así se cumplía con el mandato de los dioses según sus creencias y, a su vez, con las necesidades de la élite de la sociedad. ENGLISH: The cultural load brought by the pre-Hispanic settlers who arrived at the Bolaños Canyon, Mexico, was applied with great success to the new natural environment they faced. They reproduced the known circular settlement pattern, but adapted its elements to the new geographical conditions of the region. In this way, they fulfilled the mandate of the gods according to their beliefs and, in turn, with the needs of the society's elite.
