STUDIES OF COMPLEXES TUNGSTEN (VI) WITH TRIHYDROXYFLUORONES
Abstract
The article presents the work on identifying optimal conditions for complex formation between salicylfluorone, phenylfluorone or 5-bromosalicylfluorone, and ions of tungsten (VI). It studies spectrophotometric characteristics of extracted complexes, identifies their composition, calculates solvation numbers, defines method sensitivity and applicability limits of Beer’s law, identifies interfering ions. The results demonstrate the usability of such systems in detecting microgram quantities of tungsten using phenylfluorone complex.
