Training to meet the need for refractive error services

Abstract

In many low- and middle-income countries, there are inadequate refractive error services for the many people who are currently either blind or visually impaired because they lack a pair of spectacles.The prioritisation of refractive error and low vision services within VISION 2020: The Right to Sight has provided an impetus and framework for the development of refractive error programmes to meet this need for services.
