COUGH IN CHILDREN

Abstract

Cough is frequent symptom in pediatric practice. Tussive reflex has age-specific and physiological peculiarities. The reasons of cough in children are very heterogeneous, and differ from that ones in adults. Main causes of cough in children are inflammation in upper and lower airways, bronchial asthma, and in early age - foreign body in bronchial tube, malformations of airways, gastroesophageal reflux.
